Man City pull out of Sanchez race

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has declared that the Eastlands club has halted its pursuit of Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez had long been chased by City with reports of the Manchester club engaging in a bidding war with Barcelona for the player’s signature. However, Mancini confirmed that the Sky Blues would look elsewhere now.
“I spoke to Sanchez and he told me that he was available to join us. However, we then ended our interest. We pulled out of the race to sign the Chilean after our last offer was rejected.”
With City pulling out, it would mean that the door is open for Sanchez to join the European champions. The Chilean reportedly announced earlier that he would only move to Barca or stay with the Zebrette.
Another City player whose future has been the subject of intense scrutiny is captain Carlos Tevez. Mancini, the former Inter Coach, believes that the Argentine will be staying put in England.
“Tevez is a good player and I believe he is staying at City. I have three forwards, but I believe we do need another one. Lavezzi is a good player but not worth his €30 million release fee”. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
