Man City scout Bologna ‘keeper Viviano

Inter may be foiled in their attempts to sign the other half of their co-owned Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano, because Manchester City are interested.
A scout from the Premier League club, Barry Hunter, was allegedly in attendance for Bologna’s weekend clash with Palermo at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
Although the scout was initially thought to be watching Javier Pastore for the visiting team, it has since transpired that his intended target was Viviano.
The 25-year-old keeper is likely to join Inter at the end of the season because the Nerazzurri already own half of his contract. However, Julio Cesar is currently between the posts for the European champions so Viviano may not be keen on joining without the promise of first-team action.
Should Inter decide to keep faith with Julio Cesar, they could opt to send Viviano on loan to City for next season.
Joe Hart is the current incumbent of the keeper’s jersey at the club, but his form has been faltering in recent weeks. With Shay Given likely to leave in the summer, City are hoping to bring in someone of Viviano’s quality who can challenge for Hart’s position.
Roberto Mancini, City’s boss, has already scoured Serie A for new signings and has bought Mario Balotelli from Inter and Aleksandar Kolarov from Lazio. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
