Man United renew interest in Udinese’s Sanchez

Manchester United could be set to bid for Udinese’s Alexis Sanchez to fill their vacant winger position, having scouted the player for months.
United’s Antonio Valencia suffered a serious ankle injury in the early stages of the season which ruled him out for between six months and a year.
Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to bring in a new recruit in January to fill Valencia’s position on the right wing and Sanchez fits the bill for the Red Devils.
Ferguson has recently denied that any players will be leaving or arriving at Old Trafford during the upcoming transfer window, but after Christmas he will also lose Park Ji-Sung to the Asian Cup, further decreasing his options on the flanks.
Sanchez, 21, is a confirmed target for the Red Devils, who have been watching him since last season. He impressed at the World Cup with Chile but hasn’t had the best of seasons with Udinese this term.
As a result of his mixed form, Udinese could be ready to listen to offers for him. Should United decide that they do need an extra player to bolster their Premier League title bid, then they could enter into negotiations with Udinese over the next few weeks. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
