Mancini challenges Balotelli at Man City

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has shrugged off speculation that Milan want to sign Mario Balotelli, and has challenged his controversial striker to perform for the Premier League side.
Balotelli, who City bought from Inter in the summer, was back in Italy watching the Milan derby last week. Once again he attracted unwanted attention by claiming he wants to play alongside Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic, before having dinner with the Rossoneri’s vice-president Adriano Galliani.
But ex-Inter coach Mancini responded calmly, telling Radio Monte Carlo: “I read that I had become angry with him because he had dinner with Galliani, but I didn’t even know about that and it’s not true that I got angry with Balotelli.
“I think that before he plays with Ibrahimovic, he has to play here. He has only played a couple of games and he has done well, despite that sending-off. I hope that now he can think of his experience here because this can be very useful to his career for all that he has. He must do well here.”

Mancini paid £24 million for the 20-year-old, whose fiery temper and goalscoring ability have been demonstrated in equal measure since moving to England. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
