Marchisio set for Juventus-Inter return

Claudio Marchisio looks set to recover from injury in time to take to the field this Sunday night as Juventus host Inter.
Juventus.com noted the midfielder will miss training until Friday at the earliest but will be available to Luigi Delneri for selection.
Turin-born Marchisio pulled up sore after last Saturday’s win away to Cagliari and was forced to sit out the friendly between Italy and Germany. He worked solely in the gym during Juve’s Wednesday morning training session.
The Derby d’Italia is always a highly anticipated and tense affair and is crucial for both sides. The Old Lady will be hoping to build on last Saturday’s win, while the Nerazzurri continue to close the gap to Milan under Leonardo and do not want to lose any momentum. They must do without Diego Milito for the next month through injury, plus the suspended Christian Chivu who serves the second of his three-match ban.
The sides drew 0-0 earlier in the season.
Possible line-ups:
Juventus (4-4-2): Buffon; Sorensen, Bonucci, Barzagli, Chiellini; Krasic, Aquilani, Felipe Melo, Marchisio; Matri, Del Piero. Coach: Delneri.
Inter (4-3-1-2): Julio Cesar; Maicon, Ranocchia, Cordoba, Nagatomo; Zanetti, Cambiasso, Thiago Motta; Sneijder; Eto’o, Pazzini. Coach: Leonardo.
