Marotta’s U-Turn on Sebastian Giovinco?

Juventus General Director has intimated that the club are not closing the door on a sensational return for Sebastian Giovinco back into the fold at Vinovo, in an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We made a provisional decision on Giovinco. He is co-owned and it is right that he follows his own path to become the important player which we and he both believe he can be.
“We have an excellent relationship with Parma, but it will be down to Giovinco to turn his potential into reality. He plays for the Italian national team, so evidently he is good enough for Juventus,”
Marotta declared.
Giovinco has had an explosive start to the 2011/12 campaign, with 5 goals from as many games, and has found himself back in contention for the Azzurri squad for Euro 2012. His form has sparked a startling U-turn from Juventus, who clearly had no faith in the diminutive Turin native. Having now spent two seasons at the club, it is likely Parma will feel Giovinco is theirs to keep. However, with Marotta now labelling him, “good enough for Juventus”, coupled with Juventus’ buying power, perhaps ‘La Formica Atomica’ will don the black and white stripes again.
