Mascara delighted with Napoli switch

Giuseppe Mascara, the latest addition to Walter Mazzarri’s Napoli squad, has revealed that his switch to the Naples club is a dream come true.
The veteran 31-year-old centre forward left Serie A rivals Catania for €1.2 million to link up with the Blues on Monday, putting pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2013.
Discussing the deal with Radio Kiss Kiss, the striker said: “The deal wasn’t simple. I would like to once again thank Catania and Napoli. For me it’s an honour to be part of this squad and I am prepared to realise important objectives.
“My wife is from Campania. I come here with great enthusiasm and also a little experience in football, which counts.”

The former Palermo and Genoa hitman spent seven years with Catania, scoring over 50 goals and sporting the captain’s armband.
In 2009, Mascara made his one and only appearance for Italy in a friendly encounter against Northern Ireland and in doing so became the first Catania player to represent to Azzurri. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
