Mazzarri hopes Napoli can overcome new fixture pressures

Napoli host table toppers Juventus tonight and will be looking to end the Turin giants unbeaten start to the season. Napoli have failed to win a game in the Serie A since October 26 and have fallen to eighth in the league.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri declared: “Juve are deservedly in first, and their run of results is no accident. However, this is the fourth game in ten days for us and we’re not accustomed to this pace, especially from a mental point of view.”
Napoli have performed exceptionally well against the bigger teams, including victories over Udinese, Inter, Milan and most recently Manhcester City. This is a crucial game for the Partenopei in their fight for the Serie A title.
Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler is doubtful for this game and Mazzarri commented : “We’ll assess his condition today. If we don’t have him we’ll be compensated by the absence of Marchisio.”
Mazzarri singled out Andrea Pirlo as Juventus’ most potent threat : “He can do it all and he’s world class. How to control Pirlo? First I have to see if Inler will play. But he or Hamsik will have this job.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
