Mazzarri knew Catania would be hard to beat

Napoli overcame Catania 1-0 last night thanks to a Juan Zuniga goal. Edinson Cavani missed a penalty for the home side making the game even harder kill off but Mazzarri was not surprised.
Speaking to press after the game Mazzarri said that “In football there are no easy games, especially if you are coming off a midweek match. Napoli did their duty, while Catania only defended in the first half. We were in control for an hour and I’m happy with the way my lads interpreted the game.”
Mazzarri was especially please with Zuniga saying that “Zuniga has made incredible progress, he is very reliable and a co-starter. Catania clammed up because they’d be happy with a draw, but only put us under pressure at the end, when we got tired.”
Napoli have moved within three points of league leaders Milan and are starting to look like serious title contenders. Should the squad stay fit they may be on their way to lifting their first Scudetto since 1990. Napoli’s next league match is next weekend against Milan at the San Siro in a showdown that could create one of the closet title races in recent history. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
