Mihajlovic: “Out of respect to Inter I could never coach Milan”

On the eve of his team’s trip to the Giuseppe Meazza to play Milan, Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic told the Corriere dello Sport that he would never be able to take over the hot seat at Milanello.
The former Serbian international explained that: “for me it would never be possible to coach Milan. They are one of the greatest teams in world football but I have played for Inter and I may have a chance to coach at Inter, so in respect to my old supporters it would be impossible.” .
The 39-year-old tactician then explained that there where other Italian clubs that he would not be welcome at: “Roma, Palermo and Genoa are also clubs that it would be impossible to coach” , he stated. Being a former Lazio and Sampdoria player and having recently coached at Catania, his reasons seem wholly justified.
