Milan cool Criscito and Ziegler talks

Milan have taken a step back from negotiations for Genoa’s Domenico Criscito or Sampdoria’s Reto Ziegler because vice-president Adriano Galliani feels the asking prices are too “excessive”.
The Rossoneri are searching the market for a new left-back and Criscito, 24, or Ziegler, 25, have emerged as their top targets. However, Genoa and Sampdoria are in no rush to sell their assets as they know that other clubs are interested, as well as Milan.
Galliani said: “Neither Criscito nor Ziegler will come to Milan because there is no deal financially. It’s only a problem of costs, but for the moment we consider the demands of Genoa and Sampdoria to be excessive.
“I don’t rule out the possibility of someone coming in before the end of the transfer window. I am saying that Criscito and Ziegler won’t arrive, but we are looking for an opportunity and if one arises we will jump at it, otherwise we’ll stay the way we are.”

Galliani is expected to continue to monitor the two players throughout January in the hope that either Genoa or Sampdoria drop their demands to sanction a transfer. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
