Milan could consider Cassano if Ronaldinho leaves

Milan could turn towards Antonio Cassano if Ronaldinho decides to leave the Rossoneri in the upcoming transfer window. The Brazilian’s agent admitted yesterday that he would consider a move back to his homeland.
Meanwhile, the contract rescission proceedings against Cassano are expected to be concluded by this week which could potentially make him a free agent.
Ronaldinho’s brother and agent, Roberto de Assis told reporters yesterday that “there is an agreement with Milan for the renewal of his contract and then there is also the possibility of a return to Brazil.”
The two time World Player of the Year winner has been confined to a bit part role under Massimiliano Allegri and having just secured his return to the Brazilian national team, he is eager to play more regularly.
As for Cassano, Inter have been rumoured to be interested in signing him but doubts remain whether he will fit into the regime of a disciplinarian like Rafa Benitez. Inter’s Sporting Director Marco Branca has also stated that the club will look only to reinforce its defence after the injury to Walter Samuel.
On the other hand, Milan are keen on a striker as Filippo Inzaghi is out for the season and Pato is also struggling for fitness. Thus, this throws open the possibility that if Ronaldinho does leave the Rossoneri, Adriano Galliani may pursue after Cassano. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
