Milan could consider Luis Fabiano or Santa Cruz

Milan’s striker woes could be answered in the form of Sevilla’s Luis Fabiano or Roque Santa Cruz of Manchester City who have both had well documented problems with their respective management.
Following the injuries to Alexandre Pato and Filippo Inzaghi, the Rossoneri are desperate to find a back-up for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has complained of exhaustion on a few occasions already.
Il Diavolo’s primary target Alessandro Matri is unlikely to join the club in the winter as Cagliari President Massimo Cellino and Coach Roberto Donadoni have made their intentions clear of keeping the striker.
Thus, the current situation may force Adriano Galliani to consider a short-term option for Milan. Brazilian Fabiano has been reportedly followed by Milan for the past two summers and he may finally arrive in Italy in January.
Santa Cruz is also in a similar situation after finding himself restricted to the bench under Roberto Mancini and the Paraguayan is keen to move elsewhere.
An outright purchase of either South American is unlikely as Milan invested in the summer and the most plausible option may be a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Among the two, it is Santa Cruz who is more likely to arrive as City have expressed willingness to negotiate whereas Sevilla are firmly fixed on their asking price of €15 million for Fabiano. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
