Milan have bid for Vidal rejected

Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that they have rejected a €10 million bid from Milan for their Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal. Vidal who is reportedly also being tracked by Arsenal is one of Europe’s hot properties this summer.
The 24-year old has made no secret of his desire to move away from the BayArena this summer and has even told reporters that his preferred destination would be Bayern Munich.
However, it was Milan who have made the first approach for the midfielder although so far their efforts have been rebuffed.
Speaking to Bild, Rudi Voller said, “We are keen to hold on to Arturo, but we would cash in on him if a big money offer from abroad comes in. AC Milan’s €10million offer is not high enough for us, though.”
Vidal, who has a contract until 2012 still has 30% of his transfer rights owned by his former club Colo Colo. It is reported that a bid in the region of 15 million euros would be enough to prize him away from the Bundesliga outfit.
Last season even though Vidal often played as a defensive midfielder he still managed to score 12 goals and create 13 assists. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
