Milan have Van der Vaart in their sights

Rafael Van der Vaart is being targeted for a summer transfer by Milan as they prepare for next season’s Champions League campaign.
The recently crowned Scudetto winners are looking for a replacement for Andrea Pirlo, who announced the end of his ten year spell at San Siro yesterday.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Van der Vaart’s agent, Mino Raiola, is looking to complete the deal before August 30, with a fee likely to be in the region of £15m.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a productive first season in England, scoring 13 times, but Tottenham’s failure to qualify for the Champions League could prompt the former Real Madrid midfielder to seek pastures new.
Van der Vaart is under contract in North London until 2014 and has previously confirmed his desire to remain at the club next season, yet an offer from a resurgent Milan could prove difficult to turn down.
Following a World Cup final appearance, the Dutch international was signed by Tottenham for £8m and his impressive form was rewarded with a nomination for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
