Milan ‘keeper Abbiati facing month out

Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiatti will be facing a month out on the sidelines according to Milan News.
The Rossoneri’s number one has sustained a lesion to the adductor muscle of his right leg and will now sit out his club’s next three fixtures to Chievo, Juventus and Real Madrid.
The Milanese club released an official statement confirming the news that Dr Gianluca Melega came to his conclusion on the injury following a number of medical tests.
“Dr. Gianluca Meleg has today announced that the player Christian Abbiati has undergone medical tests which have shown a distraction along the right thigh adductor, and will be curable in 15-20 days.”
It is a big loss for Coach Massimiliano Allegri who has relied heavily on the 33-year old thus far, witnessing the former Italian international deliver a number of stellar displays by keeping four clean sheets in eight appearances. On loan stopper Marco Amelia will now step in to make his bow for the club.
Luca Antonini meanwhile will have to wear a protective mask to avail his broken nose. The club confirmed within the Abbiatti statement that the 28-year old has suffered cartilage problems in his nasal septum. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
