Milan looking at Espanyol defender Vila

Reports in Italy are suggesting that AC Milan are preparing to make a bid for Espanyol left back Rossello Didac Vila.
The 21-year-old Spaniard is represented by Mino Raiola, the same agent who helped Milan sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Urby Emanuelson and Mark van Bommel.
And according to Corriere dello Sport, it appears that Raiola could be back in action as the Rossoneri attempt to bolster their defensive options.
Despite recently signing the left footed Emanuelson, Milan are still in need of Champions League cover due to the Dutchman’s ineligibility.
The Serie A giants are thought to be interested in Genoa defender Domenico Criscito, but a deal for the Italian does not look to be forthcoming, leaving door open for a move for Didac Vila.
Espanyol have so far refused to comment on the speculation, but it is thought that a bid of around €2 million will tempt them into parting with their asset.
Meanwhile, Milan are still said to be hot on the trail of Cesena defender Yoto Nagatomo. The Japan international, who is currently on Asian Cup duty, will command a fee of around €7 million. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
