Milan want Bianchi as back-up

Milan are planning a surprise swoop for Torino striker Rolando Bianchi to replace the injured Pippo Inzaghi, according to calciomercato.it.
Inzaghi was a reliable back-up to Milan’s favoured attack of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Alexandre Pato and Robinho. However, the 37-year-old’s season-ending injury means Milan want to find a cheap yet effective replacement for him.
Bianchi has emerged as a shock contender. The 26-year-old is somewhat of a cult hero at Torino for pledging his future to the club despite playing in Serie B. He scored 26 goals last season but Torino lost in the play-offs, however Bianchi still refused a move away from the club.
A January switch to Milan could be too difficult to turn down for the player that includes Lazio and Manchester City amongst his considerable list of former clubs.
