Milan won’t sign Balotelli or Matri

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has denied that the club will sign Mario Balotelli or Alessandro Matri in January. Balotelli has been linked with a return to Italy since joining Manchester City this summer, and Milan have declared their liking for him.
The Rossoneri have also confirmed their interest in Cagliari striker Matri, but it seems that neither player will arrive at the San Siro in the near future. Galliani said: “Balotelli has just been signed by City. Therefore it is unthinkable that they would sell him.”
“Mario is just 20 though, so it would be fine if he came aged 22 or 23, but for now it is important that we don’t trick the fans into thinking he will arrive sooner. Matri is liked by [Milan coach] Massimiliano Allegri who bossed him at Cagliari.”
“However, I know that Cagliari won’t sell any players in January as they are battling to avoid relegation.”
Galliani had previously stated that Milan are looking for a new striker in January to cover for the injuries sustained by Pippo Inzaghi and Alexandre Pato. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
