Milan’s new recruit Emanuelson delighted with move

Milan’s latest signing Urby Emanuelson has expressed his joy at joining the Rossoneri from Ajax and aims to win major trophies in this season. The Dutch winger was in the stands to see Milan’s 2-0 win against Cesena.
Emanuelson completed his move to the Rossoneri on Sunday and has penned a 3-year contract that runs until June 2014. He was signed for a nominal fee with his contract at Ajax set to run out within the next six months.
“Coming to Milan is a dream come true,” started Emanuelson. “It all happened very quickly and now I am here. I will be at the disposal of the Coach immediately and hope to make my debut soon.”
Emanuelson will give some much needed reinforcement to Milan’s wide areas as the Rossoneri have looked susceptible there. The Ajax man is well known for pushing forward and also has a good shot on him, having scored eight goals last season
“I can play anywhere – in midfield as well as in defence, on both the left and the right. But I think I’m at my best when I’m attacking. My objective is to win trophies and I feel that I can do that here.”
The new recruit effused praise on his new team-mates, some who he has already played with and others that he idolizes. And he also found a way to endear himself to Milan fans with a remark on city rivals Inter.
“I’ve known Zlatan since our time together at Ajax. Then there are also legends like Clarence Seedorf and Andrea Pirlo who I hope to learn new things from about the game. As for Inter, I think we are much stronger.”
Emanuelson might make his debut sooner than expected as Milan lost Alessandro Nesta for up to a month with a shoulder injury and Luca Antonini has struggled on the left so far this season. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
