Milito aims to return for Milan or Schalke

Inter’s Diego Milito could return from injury against Milan or Schalke. However, the Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Nerazzuri may favor Il Principe featuring in the Champions League, rather than the Derby della Madonnina.
Milito has been out of action since February 6th. This injury represents the striker’s fifth layoff of the season. He has trained lightly with the squad since March 13th, only to participate in full sessions over the last few days.
While it is Inter’s desire to have their top scorer of last season back for the crucial derby with Milan, Milito’s presence in the quarterfinal tie with Schalke on April 5th could be more important, due to the absence of cup-tied Giampaolo Pazzini.
There is necessary caution with Milito’s return from injury, as on previous occasions his return was hastened due to the needs of the team – which could attribute to his copious time on the sidelines this season. The team will monitor developments over the next few days and gauge the feelings of the player, in order to ease him back into the lineup.
Inter will hope to have their star back for the decisive games in the coming months. As Milito has already shown in Nerazzurri, he knows how to decide important matches. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
