Milto starts for Inter in the Club World Cup

Inter will face Asian champions Seongnam Ilhwa in the FIFA Club World Cup today. Diego Milito is fit to start and wants to take his club to the final against surprise packageTP Mazembe, the African champions.
‘El Principe’ is keen to win the FIFA Club World Cup and hopes that his return from injury will signal the Nerazzurri’s return to winning ways. Inter who sit in seventh place in Serie A are thirteen points behind leaders and city rivals Milan.
Since winning the Super Coppa at the start of the season results have been poor and winning this tournament will be seen as a badly needed kick start to the season.
This team who posed the biggest threat for the Nerazzurri have already been eliminated. Brazilian side Internacional suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat to TP Mazembe of the Congo. This leaves Rafael Benitez no excuses in not bringing home a trophy that is much coveted by Inter’s President Massimo Moratti.
Inter have been plagued by injury this term and Rafael Benitez will be content with the knowledge that some of his key players have returned. None more than Diego Milito whose goals were key in the treble success of last year.
He is fit to start and in Inter’s press conference talked of how vital his performance could be, “I would give anything to win, but it is not important that I score. If I ‘have to’ score that is better, but what I really want is to win and that is the only thing that matters.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
