Moggi: Milan are favourites for Scudetto and Benitez has lost control

Former Juventus director Luciano Moggi believes Milan are favourites for the Scudetto following their 1-0 victory in the Milanese derby over champions Inter.
Zlatan Ibrahimvoic dispatched a first half penalty which turned out to be the winning goal despite the Rossoneri going down to ten men when Ignazio Abate was dismissed on the hour mark.
Speaking to Gold TV, Moggi believes they are now the favourites to clinch their first league title since 2004.
“Milan are now the favourites for the title.” he stated.
Never shy from controversy, the 73-year old then blasted Inter and in particular Coach Rafael Benitez who he believes has deteriorated the Nerazzurri since he arrived in place of Jose Mourinho – comparing Benitez to a shepherd who has lost control of his flock.
“Inter were an arrogant side under Jose Mourinho, but now they are under shepherd Benitez’s guidance and they are out of control.
“They have lost physical strength. The game was conditioned by certain decisions and soon we will start hearing the Inter moans and groans.”
