Moratti and Leonardo happy with hard-fought win

Inter’s official website reported that during the interviews after last nights 3-2 win against Cesena, President Massimo Moratti and Coach Leonardo were singing from the same hymn sheet.
Leonardo was bemused on how his team could play so well and then leak goals as they did. He believed that his team had suffered but had the character to end victorious. He said “It was a really difficult game, almost a paradox, with the team playing really well, it then took a 2-0 lead but then there was the change and as the team tried to adjust the opposition got their goals and what happened, happened. Then in the second half we conceded less. Overall we suffered in this game, but there was an enormous effort from everyone,”
This was a view echoed by President Moratti, when asked if he was satisfied he said that he was please with the first half performance and the result. “We are used to having to suffer during a game. There was the chance to have a decrease in intensity in the game, both for the lead we’d taken and for the fact that Milito had to come off, maybe, those things changed the game.”
Milito leaving the field during the game was certainly a point of concern for all involved although it now seems as though it may not be that bad. Leonardo said “He wanted to stay on but his muscle was sore and you never know in those cases, he is not hurt but he felt it tighten and so it was better he came off.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
