Moratti fuming after derby defeat to Milan

Massimo Moratti was bitterly disappointed by his team’s performance in the Milan derby last night and stated that Inter deservedly lost the game. “In this game I did not like anything, neither the build-up play nor the rest. We have done too little to deserve to win”, said the visibly furious Inter patron.
The Nerazzurri went down 1-0 to their city rivals and in the process suffered their first home loss in the league for over two and a half years. Moratti was particularly concerned by the team’s performance: “We did not suffer because of Milan’s game, it seems to me that we just didn’t play. That is even worse. It will be difficult to go on like this”.
Moratti’s reaction has triggered rumours once more that the President is unhappy with Benitez and may seek to replace him in January. But Inter Director Ernesto Paolillo believes the Spaniard shouldn’t be blamed for the current mess: “Benitez is not the problem, but we need to find the right cohesion. The road is steep, but we are still at the beginning of the season, so nothing is compromised”.
After last night’s result, Inter currently lie fifth in the table six points behind leaders Milan and this is their lowest position in the league at this stage since the 2004-05 season. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
