Moratti hits back at Agnelli Scudetti claims

Inter president Massimo Moratti has hit back at Juventus number one Andrea Agnelli who had declared that the Bianconeri wanted their recently withdrawn titles back. Moratti replied:“Juventus want back the 2005 and 2006 Scudetti? Well we want back those of 1998 and 2002.”
According to the Corriere dello Sport this was the manner Moratti answered to the last umpteenth request of the Bianconeri President who wants the return of th titles revoked after Calciopoli scandal, those of 2005 and 2006. “I don’t mean to criticise their plan of action but we also have something to ask in return” the Nerazzurri President then added referring to some famous refereeing controversies, notably in the Championship of 1998, a Mark Iuliano-Ronaldo “non-foul“, and in 2002 when Inter missed the Scudetto because of a draw with Chievo, where an apparent foul by D‘Anna on Ronaldo failed to get a penalty, and Inter went on to lose the title.
He concluded “Nothing has changed between Agnelli and I regarding our personal relationship, just we know now what kind of politics they are employing.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
