Moratti: “Inter in the market after Club World Cup”

With the Club World Cup closing in, Inter President Massimo Moratti, has started thinks about strategies to reinforce the team in the winter transfer window.
According to Goal.com, the patron declared: “In January we’ll be back on the market. We won’t buy any replacement, just useful operations.”
Despite Coach Rafael Benitez’s repeated calls for new faces, Moratti wants to focus on the Club World Cup first, and then he will turn to the market.
“I buy players if it’s needed to build up something, not just to replace somebody” the President explained. “We’ll conclude useful operations to establish a base for the future.”
The hottest names that are being linked to Inter are those of former striker Antonio Cassano and Genoa defender Andrea Ranocchia.
Cassano was reportedly very close to the Nerazzurri and rumours stated that there is already an agreement between the club and the striker.
However, Moratti and Director Tronchetti Provera have denied that such a move is afloat. As for defender, Ranocchia it will be necessary to convince Genoa President Enrico Preziosi.
