Moratti pays tribute to Ronaldo

Inter President Massimo Moratti spoke to Inter’s website yesterday and expressed his sadness about reports that Ronaldo had retired.
Moratti said “I’m slightly saddened by the idea of not seeing Ronaldo on the football field any more because I consider him to be the best centre-forward of all time. With all the affection and all the respect and remembering all the pleasure he gave everyone who saw him play, not to mention playing for Inter in a very special year, I must say that it was a great privilege for us. I hope he enjoys the rest of his life as much as he enjoyed playing football.”
Ronaldo played 99 matches for the Nerazzurri between 1997 and 2002 scoring 59 goals. This impressive scoring tally saw him win the UEFA Cup with Inter as well as earning the nickname ‘Il Fenomeno’. Moratti’s claim that the Brazilian World Cup winner was the best of all time seems to hold some weight as the ex-Nerazzurri favourite notched up a total of 335 goals in 476 games.
The Inter press office also paid tribute with the words “magic moments, bitter tears and wonderful times.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
