Moratti warns against Inter complacency

As Massimo Moratti left the Saras offices last night he took time to talk to some waiting journalists. Amongst the conversation he left a stark message that warned against complacency.
One of the journalists asked about Moratti on his thoughts about the upcoming league match against Lecce to which he warned, “We really weren’t thinking about it until now, but we’ll have to because on Sunday there’s another game, and we must be careful. When you play a game after a Champions League match, regardless of the result, it’s always difficult because you have a different level of concentration. We can’t afford for our concentration to drop: we have to focus our attention and perform well.”
If the Nerazzurri win against Lecce it will make the Derby della Madonnina a crunch game that could decide the title. Moratti boasted about his teams ability to keep coming back from the dead especially when quizzed on the amazing comebacks against Palermo, Genoa and now Bayern Munich: “I think you missed a couple off that list; we’ve had quite a few recently. I suppose it means the team respond well to situations and have a lot of pride and belief in their own ability. I think that’s a strong characteristic of this team.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
