Jose Mourinho returns to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednseday night for the first time since leaving the Inter hot seat as his Real Madrid side takes on Milan.
Speaking at Tuesday’s press conference, the Portuguese tactician told Sky Italia that he has nothing but respect for the Rossoneri and its supporters, stating that: “I expect a stronger Milan than that of two weeks ago, they will look to put more pressure on us”.
He continued: “with the fans of Milan, I have an interesting rapport, respectful but not negative and my relationship with the players and directors has always been positive. With this in mind, playing at their home, I do not want feel as though I am the enemy”. Incredibly, Mourinho was greeted by over 50 Inter fans as he exited the stadium after his press conference and he left with this message: “it is not possible to forget these supporters and once again I would like to thank them for all the emotions they have shown me”.
