Mourinho nostalgic about Milan derby

Jose Mourinho was in a nostalgic mood when talking about the Milan derby on Friday afternoon, La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports. The former treble-winning coach of Inter reminisced about the derbies he participated in against rivals Milan:
“It is a great derby. I’ve played four, won three and I have enjoyed them all, even the one I have lost. Maybe people outside Italy do not know that this is a big challenge, felt and played with fantastic passion, in a super positive atmosphere.”
Derbies bring much concern for fan violence, but Mourinho clarified the relationship between the Milanese fans for a game of such magnitude:
“Between the fans is great rivalry but there are no problems of violence. The stadium is full, the streets are full of people coming together at the stadium, each with his jersey, some of Milan and Inter who, again without any problems.”
The Real Madrid tactician grinned when asked if he would view the match in peace this year, but admitted he would be unable to watch it, as his squad has an afternoon fixture with Sporting Gijon at the Bernabeu on Saturday. He reiterated the importance of the derby, especially in this campaign:
“Tomorrow when they play the first against the second, an extra incentive is there because the championship is at stake.”
Milan and Inter are currently separated by only two points at the top of the table, with the Rossoneri leading the standings with 62 points. There are eight more rounds to be played to the end of the season. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
