Muntari doesn’t resent Inter

Sulley Muntari has revealed that he holds no grudges towards former club Inter after they allowed him to join Sunderland on loan for the remainder of this season.
The midfielder was signed by the Nerazzurri under Jose Mourinho but found his chances severely limited subsequently with Rafa Benitez in charge and with Leonardo now at the helm, the Ghanaian’s time at Inter was up.
His move to Sunderland is temporary, though, meaning there is still a chance that Muntari will return to Inter in June. He said: “I didn’t play much for Inter this year, but that’s part of football.
“You have good seasons and then you have bad ones. You just have to accept it. I wanted to come here because [Ghana team-mates Asamoah Gyan and John Mensah] are both here.
“They gave me hope and it was an easy decision to make. As soon as I spoke to the manager [Steve Bruce], I made up my mind.”

Sunderland are not thought to have an exclusive option to buy Muntari should they choose, but Inter are expected to sell him in the summer as he doesn’t feature in Leonardo’s plans. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
