Muntari’s agent confirms exit plans

Calciomercato.it is reporting that Sulley Muntari’s agent has been trying to organise a departure from Inter in the January transfer window.
Muntari is on the fringes of the first-team this season under Rafa Benitez, but only this morning the Ghanaian international claimed that a transfer wasn’t imminent, and he could still stay at Inter. However, his agent seems convinced that Muntari’s future is away from the San Siro, and probably lies in England.
Frank Schreir said: “It could be that he will leave in the January transfer window. We have to arrange a meeting in the next few days in Milan to discuss his future, and then we will know the conditions of a transfer.
“There has been contact from the Premier League and a return to England is definitely a possibility. I will not speak directly about the clubs involved, but it is the same ones that have followed him previously.”

Tottenham Hotspur are the favourites to sign Muntari, who Inter value at 8 million Euros. Tottenham’s manager Harry Redknapp sold Muntari to Inter when he was at Portsmouth, so knows the midfielder well.
