Nagatomo delighted with Inter switch

The Nerazzurri’s new signing Yuto Nagatomo is happy with his loan move until the end of the season. The Japanese left back moved from Cesena late on transfer deadline day in a deal that saw Davide Santon get loaned out the other way.
In his first press conference the player said: “I’m very happy to have joined Inter, the world champions. Now I have to prove to everyone that I can play. What’s happened today came out of the blue, but now that I’m here I have to give it everything I’ve got.” Inter were desperate for cover at left back and the Asian Cup Winners arrival will help do just that.
When asked if he was daunted by meeting his new team mates he said how “I already know some of my new team-mates. I met Samuel Eto’o when I played against him with Japan in the World Cup; and the same goes for Wesley Sneijder. But I expect I’ll soon make friends with the whole team.” Nagatomo is also the first Japanese player to represent Inter and he was evidently proud of this saying that “That fills me with great pride. I really want to succeed wearing the Nerazzurri colours.”
The interview ended on a nice note when Nagatomo decided to speak without the aid of his interpreter and said “Sono molto felice di giocare con l’Inter.” (I’m very happy to play for Inter.) Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
