Napol: Cavani not for sale

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has boldly declared that his star striker Edinson Cavani wouldn’t even be sold if the club received a €50 million bid for him.
Cavani’s price-tag surely increased on Sunday night with a hat-trick against Juventus, taking his season’s tally to 20 in all competitions.
Despite only arriving at Napoli last summer in a €17 million move from Palermo, Cavani has been linked with a move to a top European side after his goals have rocketed his new club to second in the table.
But, De Laurentiis has no plans to let the 23-year-old move on. He said: “I wouldn’t even sell him for €50m. I would say ‘no’ if Manchester City wanted him.”
Inter president Massimo Moratti, who was linked with Cavani before Napoli snapped him up, has admitted his regret at not moving quickly enough.
Moratti said: “There is always regret when a player that you have followed for years does well. However, we can’t sign everyone.”
The Uruguayan international is currently the top scorer in Serie A, leading to speculation that Napoli could struggle to keep him should a big-money bid come in for him. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
