Napoli closing in on Gabriel Milito

Barcelona’s Gabriel Milito looks set to follow his brother Diego to Italy, but it is Napoli who look likely to sign him rather than Genoa who were the favourites.
It has been reported that Napoli and Barcelona have struck a deal for the Argentine defender to move to Italy, and he should arrive to discuss personal terms in the next few days.
Gabriel has returned to the first-team fold this season at Barca after spending two years out recovering from a cruciate ligament injury. However, upon his return he has found opportunities limited and Napoli look set to win the race for his signature.
The Vesuviani, who have overachieved brilliantly this campaign and currently occupy second place in Serie A, have made public their intention to sign a left-sided centre-back.
Several names were linked but Gabriel Milito would fit the bill perfectly if Napoli are satisfied that his injury problems are behind him.
The player was thought to be heading to Genoa, the club where his elder brother Diego Milito had two very successful stints before joining Inter.
However, Gabriel has seemingly opted not to follow in Diego’s footsteps and could seal a move to the San Paolo outfit soon. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
