Napoli Continue to Play Hard Ball Over Koulibaly Transfer

The word emanating from the Napoli camp this morning are suggesting that Koulibaly will not be sold, with the Serie A side rejecting an £80 million offer from Manchester United earlier in the week and more recently a £90 million bid from Real Madrid.
It seems as though Ancelloti is keen to hang on to his star centre back and the latest football betting, suggests that he may get his way. Koulibaly is currently priced at ⅘ to be still playing for Napoli next season, whilst Napoli are as short as 11-2 to win Serie A in the 2019-2020 season.
According to several sources, Koulibaly has a minimum fee release clause of £150 million and Napoli are insisting that this is met before allowing the player to talk to other clubs. This would almost inevitably price the 27 year old Senegalese player out of a move, with the likes of Utd and Real, preferring other, younger players for a fee of that magnitude.
United in particular, look set to follow a revamped transfer policy this summer, with a focus on bringing in exciting youth players that they can mould into the Man Utd way of playing. Koulibaly, was already looking like he would not fit that policy, but there was an argument to suggest that they would look to bring in a commanding central defender with experience to help steady the ship whilst helping younger signings develop. At £150 million, Koulibaly may not be that option.
Instead Utd may look to the likes of De Ligt or Ruben Dias to strengthen their defence, both of whom are much younger and would be available for considerably less than £150 million that Koulibaly would cost.
If Napoli are to mount a serious challenge next season and stop Juventus running away with the title again (as predicted by footballitaliano.), they will need to keep their best players and Koulibaly would certainly fall into that category. They were impressive defensively last season and if they can build on that, they can surely improve for the forthcoming season. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
