Napoli fans banned from travelling to Milan

The New Year in Serie A will see Napoli fans forbidden to travel to their club’s first match of 2011 at the Giuseppe Meazza against Inter on January 6 the Corriere Dello Sport reports.
The CASMS which is the security organisation responsible for authorising supporter travel across the peninsula, has deemed the game high risk and therefore prohibited the Nerazzurri from issuing tickets for the match to anyone residing in the Campania region.
There has been great animosity between the two sets fans at recent meetings, so the authorities deemed it necessary to restrict the travel of supporters of the Vesuviani.
Other fans who will be unable to watch their team’s in the opening weeks of 2011 are Bari, who will be forbidden to attend the Puglian derby against Lecce on January 6 and Catania, who will miss their team’s trip to the capital to face Roma on the same day.
Three days later, Juventus supporters will be missing at the San Paolo as their side faces a crucial match against Napoli, Brescia supporters will not be able to travel to Tuscany for their game against Fiorentina and Lecce tifosi will miss their capital date with Lazio.
