Napoli slap hefty price tag on Hamsik

Napoli have reacted to AC Milan’s pursuit of Marek Hamsik by slapping a €100 million price tag on the player’s head. The 23-year-old had recently declared that a move to San Siro would be hard one for him to turn down.
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis insists that the Serie A champions will have to meet the club’s hefty valuation of the Slovakian international if they want to take him away from the Stadio San Paolo.
Discussing the situation at a press conference, De Laurentiis said: “The indecent proposal I referred to (earlier this month) would be of €100 million. Otherwise, Hamsik will remain here,” said De Laurentiis in a press conference.
Hamsik, who joined Napoli in 2007 from league rivals Brescia, has four years remaining on contract. He scored 11 Serie A goals last season as the Azzurri finished third in the league table and qualified for this campaign’s UEFA Champions League. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
