Nesta a major doubt for Cagliari-Milan game

It was bad news for AC Milan before they travelled to Sardinia for this afternoon’s game against Cagliari, as Alessandro Nesta fell foul to an old injury making his involvement unlikely.
Gianluca Zambrotta, Matthieu Flamini, Andrea Pirlo and Kevin-Prince Boateng will all miss the game through injury whilst Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suspended. Milan have no got to cope without their influential center back after he pulled up in training on Wednesday.
Massimiliano Allegri commented that “Nesta felt an old injury and it’s difficult to see him playing tomorrow. We’ll take a look at his condition tomorrow but it’s difficult to see him recovering in time.”
Milan who are the current league leaders in Serie A are also not sure if new signing Antonio Cassano will start. Allegri said “Antonio is 70 percent sure to start on the bench but there’s still a 30 percent chance that he could start, There are two possibilities: one is to play Seedorf in midfield with Robinho behind Cassano and Pato.”
Allegri also took time to warn the troublesome forward that he would not tolerate his exploits that were seen at all his previous clubs, saying “It’s the last chance for Cassano’s career and he can’t afford to mess up, Now it’s his desire which counts and he’s showing he has that.”
Milan will face a Cagliari side who lie 13th in the table and who have already been beaten three times at home already this term. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
