No Milan return for David Beckham

BBC Sport reports that David Beckham will not be returning to Europe on a loan deal this January. There had been speculation that the former England captain would rejoin the Rossoneri for a third spell next year despite the club insisting that there was no truth in those reports. A statement issued from the player this morning has indicated that he will not leave the US before his contract expires with The LA Galaxy at the end of 2011.
Beckham did have the option of buying out the rest of his contract next month but he explained that: “I’m definitely going to be here for the rest of my contract. My sons go to school here and we are all happy living here so I cannot see us moving back to Europe”. Beckham’s second spell with the club ended last March when he picked up an Achilles tendon injury and he only returned to first team action with The Galaxy in August.
