Novara’s Gonzalez could earn Milan move

Milan could try and ease their attacking injury woes by dipping into Serie B and signing Novara striker Pablo Andres Gonzalez.
Rossoneri duo Filippo Inzaghi and Alexandre Pato are both injured and Ronaldinho is out-of-favour, leaving Zlatan Ibrahimovic with the weight of expectations all on his shoulders. Milan are known to be in the market for a relatively cheap striker to use as back-up for Ibrahimovic, and have identified Gonzalez.
The 25-year-old Argentinean has shot Novara to the top of Serie B with his goalscoring exploits, despite the club only gaining promotion from Serie C1 last season. Gonzalez, who Novara signed from tiny Argentine club Grupo Universitario, has been a revelation this season and Milan believe he can make a huge step up.
Novara, who are currently primed for promotion to Serie A thanks to Gonzalez, would be powerless to prevent their star striker moving to the San Siro should a bid of €4 million be submitted in January.
