Obiora moves from Inter to Parma

Inter’s Nigerian duo of Nwankwo Obiora and Joel Obi were both signed onto co-ownership deals with Parma at the end of yesterday’s transfer window. While the former moves to the Gialloblu for the rest of the season, the latter will stay at the San Siro.
Obiora, 19, has made a handful of appearances for Inter and featured from time to time under Rafa Benitez before finding a place hard to come by after Inter’s stars returned from their injury problems.
He will join Parma with immediate effect and the Ducali will have the option to buy-out the rest of his contract at the end of the season. Joel Obi meanwhile, stays at Inter after signing a similar deal.
The midfielder who is a cousin of Chelsea’s John Obi Mikel has made a mark at the Nerazzurri and started the Milan derby before going off through injury. He also came on in the last game against Palermo with ten minutes to go.
The man he replaced, Esteban Cambiasso, has been diagnosed with a hamstring strain in his left thigh and is likely to miss out on Inter’s game with Bari this Thursday night.
Finally, Inter also signed a co-ownership deal for their former youth product Marco Andreolli with Chievo, but he will stay with the Flying Donkeys for the time being.
The 24-year old Italian has become quite the journeyman in his short career having featured for Inter before moving to Roma as part of the Cristian Chivu and subsequently appearing for Vicenza and Sassulo in Serie B. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
