Osvaldo not setting Roma limits

Pablo Osvaldo claims he would be happy if Roma qualifies for a European competition while also noting he has a good relationship with Azzurri Coach Cesare Prandelli.
Inconsistency has plagued the beginning of Luis Enrique’s reign in the capital, but a 2-1 win against Lecce last Sunday saw I Giallorossi climb to fifth on the table.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Osvaldo is not looking to put a ceiling on what can be achieved: “We are a squad with a lot of new players, but are only five points from first position and anything can happen, I am not setting limits. I play to win, but I would still be happy to qualify for a European competition.”
Looking towards the national team, Osvaldo says it was a shock to receive his first call-up: “When I arrived in the squad it remained a surprise, at that moment I was not waiting for it. With Prandelli I have always had a great rapport. In Florence he wanted to keep me.”
