Painful loss for Roma and Montella

Saturday evening saw two consecutive defeats at the Olimpico for Vincenzo Montella and his Roma, side seeing the Giallorossi lose to Palermo.
With the change of ownership having gone through Roma fans were expecting more enthusiasm from the side but the loss left them shocked and wondering if a fourth place finish would be possible.
“There is no point in hiding it, everything becomes more difficult now, and it also depends on the other results. We must burn this defeat because we did good things at times, the team tried to win right until the end.” Montella told Il Corriere dello Sport.
Montella had prepared for the game in order to get a result against Palermo but the second half almost saw a non-existent half for the Giallorossi. “There are many similarities with the game against Juventus. All week we talked about other things but the players and coach must be able to cope with these situations. I hope that the change of ownership has not affected us.”
He continued: “It is true we have also been affected by certain factors. But this team has shown in the pastry they could not make the leap.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
