Palermo boss Zamparini hoping for fair derby

Notoriously fiery Palermo President has spoken to Tgs Studio Sport about his desire to see a fair Sicilian derby this weekend, when Catania host Palermo.
Since this fixture’s return to Serie A in 2006 there have been heated moments on and off the pitch between the regional rivals, yet Zampa wants the football to be the main attraction on show this Sunday: “The most important thing is for everybody to play their part in the football match. To have a rivalry is fine, but the players have to be the symbols of fairness.”
Palermo won this encounter earlier in the season, 3-1, but Catania sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco told the Rossoblu will be completely motivated for the derby and will give it their all.
“The Rosanero have no more demands in the championship and can concentrate on the Coppa Italia. They are aiming for the final, which will be their way into the Europa League. On the other hand we are concentrating 101% on the championship and our motivations will probably be different.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
