Palermo chief in referee outburst

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has launched an astonishing attack on refereeing supremo Marcello Nicchi.
In an interview with Corriere Dello Sport, the outspoken president asked that his club be given more respect after a series of controversial decisions against them. The Rosanero patron pulled no punches when he declared: “from day one, the referees have been against our club. There has been an impressive array of errors and enough is enough, we deserve respect”.
He continued his tirade by stating that “against Inter, Fiorentina and Brescia we have been victims of bad mistakes. At first I considered that we were just unfortunate but on further reflection I am beginning to get very worried about the situation”. The full version of the letter has appeared on the sports daily’s website and looks certain to land Zamparini, who is no stranger to controversy, in more hot water. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
