Palermo defender Silvestre eager to atone against Catania

Palermo defender Matias Silvestre told Sky the Rosanero were not up to their best against Cesena and looks forward to a big week.
Cesena ended Palermo’s perfect season home record with a shock 1-0 win thanks to Adrian Mutu’s goal just after the hour mark.
The Argentine was disappointed by their performance: “We were not as good as usual. In the first half their goalkeeper did well and after they scored in the second half we were not able to find the equaliser.”
Coming up this week for Palermo is a Coppa Italia clash against Siena at the Stadio Renzo Barbera before the Sicilian derby, away at Catania. Silvestre, a former Catania player, feels his side need to be more aggressive than versus Cesena.
“Now we must prepare for the Coppa Italia match and then we can think about Catania; for us it is very important. Against Catania, more than ever, we have to be angry and aggressive.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
