Pandev: “Win against Juve and we are still in Scudetto race”

The former Inter forward Goran Pandev has admitted his start in Naples has not been perfect but feels he and his side have much to offer this season.
Speaking to Radio Mars, the Macedonian international has explained that he still feels that Napoli have a chance of progression in the Champions League and a big hope of continuing the fight for the Scudetto but first victories against Manchester City and Juventus respectively are required.
Speaking candidly the Partenopei star reflected: “If we win against Juventus we are still in the race for the Scudetto. Personally I have shown nothing yet. I really want to help the team but I need to integrate.”
“Against Bayern it was a difficult match. They put us under a lot of pressure in the first half but in the second we saw a great Napoli. We’ll play the next match against City at the San Paolo and I think we can do it.
After spells with Inter and Lazio, Pandev is no stranger to big expectations but he feels he has already been won over by the passion and commitment to their side the Neapolitan supporters have. “I came here to win trophies and give joy to these supporters. Naples is a city that lives for football and their side and to win here would be different to doing it in Rome or Milan.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
