Parma closing in on Borini

Italy Under-21 striker Fabio Borini is ready to cut short his Premier League adventure with Chelsea and return to Italy with Parma.
The 19-year-old moved to Chelsea 18 months ago, leaving Bologna’s youth academy having never represented the club’s first-team. However, after just a handful of sporadic appearances for Chelsea, Borini is in advanced negotiations to sign for Parma.
The player’s agent Marco De Marchi said: “The transfer to Parma is not yet official, but the negotiations are at an advanced stage. In recent months there was also interest from Lazio and Roma, but Parma picked up the pace.
“Despite the fact [Chelsea manager Carlo] Ancelotti respects him, we have not reached an agreement with Chelsea to extend the contract, so we have decided to find an alternative solution.
“Fabio needs an environment that will allow him to show his quality, a club with a specific technical plan. In that sense, Parma is the ideal option. In the next few days we will meet again to finalise the details.”

The transfer fee for the teenager is yet to be announced. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
